Green!

Remember the camouflage paint? We finally made a choice (yes, it took us that long) and it we didn't choose any of the paints from the camouflage wall. The Lizard King found a green in the paint returns and grabbed it for the bargain price of $7. This past weekend he painted. This time, Princess opted to be a bystander and watched him while she worked on Perler bead projects, played the Wii, iPad and watched TV.

LK and I love, love, love the green! Princess, well, not so much. LK told her that in 15 years, she can paint the house any color she wants. She told us that every room, yes every room, will be pink. For now, she is dealing with the green.
LK also painted the ceiling and plans to paint every ceiling in the house. We prefer white ceilings and the builder painted the walls and ceiling the same color.
 Doesn't it look beautiful?!
Next, the living room!

  1. Lovely shade of green! I painted recently too.... The bedroom is going to be green although I have not decided what color just yet. The living room got a coat of a sorta robins egg blue.

I am so glad to see a post from you! I have neglected my blog so terribly, as well as all my bloggy friends!

  4. I LOVE it!!! As you know I'm partial to green to begin with, all shades, all hues. But I love how that particular green goes so well with the dark wood cabinets. Makes them both pop. Good call Lizard King.

    :D

    1. I do know that you're partial to green, Sheri! The contrast rocks, doesn't it? That is what sold me on that shade/color. I'm excited for the rest of the painting!!
