That looks wonderful!! We're in central Texas, so I think we can still get a Fall crop in - if I'll just get on it!! I grew figs, berries, and a pomegranate :) http://suepatterson.blogspot.com/2012/08/garden-success.html http://suepatterson.blogspot.com/2012/08/pomegranates.html
Last year I tried so hard to keep my tomatoes alive in spite of the drought - it was depressing. So this year, I just bought them at the Farmer's Market. Thanks for reminding me about getting busy on figuring out what to grow now! :)
I can't wait to see the fruits of your fall labor, Sue! We are limited as to what we can grow in the fall, but I think the Lizard King has some plans. I guess I'll find out soon enough. :)
Oh Yummy! That all looks so good. Congrats. We've only harvested some tomatoes and a few zucchini. We've had some record breaking dry weather here this year so we're lucky we have anything at all. Still, it just seems to taste better when you grow it yourself. :D
We've got tons of green tomatoes, waiting for them to ripen. Our summers are always dry, but we've hot some hot, hot, hot days. Things are cooler now, thankfully. And I totally agree, it does taste better when you grow it yourself. :)
