Princess Meets Broadway

We recently took Princess to her very first Broadway show. She absolutely LOVED it! The show was fabulous . . . so well done. We are already beginning to plan her next show -- Beauty and the Beast. I can hardly wait!


Of course, we needed a souvenir to commemorate the occasion . . .

I got a little something, too -- a fabric supercalifragilisticexpialidocious bag.

I also snapped an against the rules shot, during intermission, using a new app on my phone. I couldn't delete it, because at the time I couldn't find the shot. I did find it today. Shhhhh . . . don't tell anyone.

    O MY Goodness!!!!! My oldest would be completely green with envy! Mary Poppins has been her favorite since she was an itty bitty girl. How very exciting for Princess. :) I hope that she loved it completely.
    And that bag! O my goodness I love that bag!

    Princess is already talking about going to see this show again next year. ;) Not that it's coming to Portland next year, but . . . Yes, she loved it completely.

    She was so excited to get dressed up, Sheila . . . until she needed to put shoes on and I realized that we had no dressy shoes that fit. She ended up wearing her flip flops, that just happened to be the exact shade of pink that was in her dress! She was not pleased, but there was no time to go shoe shopping at that point.
