Wardrobe Wednesday

With the big garden we've planted this year and all my excitement about Monday Gardening Club, you'd think that I loved gardening. I don't. I love eating the food that we grow. I really don't like gardening. At all. Nope. Not one bit.

My big issue? I don't like the feeling of dried mud/dirt on my hands. It sends shivers down my spine.

If it weren't for these awesome gardening gloves, I don't know if I would be able to garden at all. Yes. I'm a bit of a prissy girl. My gloves, they serve me well.

    LOL I hate the dirt under my nails! I dont mind being dirty I just hate dirt under my nails.

    You are not alone! I CAN'T STAND dirt under my nails. Good gardening gloves are a must for me too. The first three years we did a garden, I hated it but I'm finding the experience is starting to grow on me. ;) (Horrible pun, I know.)

    I have many pair of gloves just like that and I absolutely LOVE them. I use them not only for gardening but I have several pair for exclusive use at the farm too. You didn't think I touched nasty farm stuff my bare hands did you? :)

    I so need pair. I took up gardening, uh, three days ago, and it has left my mitts in a sorry state. Parched, cracked and cut. And my fingernails? Looks like I have miniature raised planting beds on the end of my fingers when I'm done. Cute gardening gloves to the rescue! -- VH stairfriend ;)

    Now I know I'm in good company, Aliceson! You are the queen gardener and you wear gloves. Whew! No more feeling like the wimp for me. And oh boy! I can imagine you'd have to wear gloves working at the farm. Eww!
