I can see!

I had my eyes checked a few months ago and my near vision is worse. :-/ I decided to try the progressive lenses again. Epic fail! I am now absolutely certain that I do not like progressives. The close up focus gives you a reading size smaller than a dime. It is so small that in order to read a page in a book, I have to move my head from side to side. That's right! It won't focus on an entire line.

On top of that, my dad told me about the price of Costco glasses. I returned my glasses and sunglasses that I got at Lenscrafters, got my credit of $874 and headed over to Costco. I decided to just get glasses for now and sunglasses later. The cost of my new glasses? $149 Yup. That's all. Even progressives there were MUCH less than at Lenscrafters, not that I'm ever trying them again.

Can you see the sexy bifocal line?

Head on over to our Wardrobe Wednesday sponsor, Aliceson at Feet Off the Table to see what all the cool kids are wearing.

  1. Excellent! I bought a new pair of glasses a few months back and let me tell you, it was the best hundred bucks I've spent in a long time. Lookin' good, Shady Lady!

  2. I hate how expensive glasses can be. I can't view your photo but probably my computer's fault. It is a real piece of junk lately.

  3. Seeing IS pretty cool, Aliceson. ;-) Your deal was even better than mine! Still, the $149 was totally worth it.

Secret Mom, it's crazy how expensive they can be. SO glad I learned about Costco!! Sorry your computer won't let you see my awesome glasses. ;-P

  5. Aw, thanks Sheri! Actually, I wanted a different pair . . . with bling, but I have a freakishly small head with eyes too close together apparently. But I am happy with these. And yeah, what a price difference. I am going to Costco from now on.
