Super Early Bird

We're never super early for anything. Ask anyone. We're almost always late. If we're on time it's a big surprise. This is the one exception.

Yesterday, an email popped in that had me jumping up and down with excitement. Conference organizer, Mary Gold, announced that Super Early Bird Registration was open for the  LIFE is Good Unschooling Conference and the hotel room block had been set up. And yes, I registered right away AND reserved our hotel. I know the conference/hotel is just across the bridge, but we missed so much last time by having to drive home each day. This time the Lizard King will join us. We are super excited!! To make things easier, Sophia Rose (the royal dog) is going too! This promises to be another amazing time!!! It's true, life IS good!

    I always struggle with conference envy when I hear about these and the various blogging conferences available to you guys over there!

    I'm with Cate. We don't have those kinds of conferences here either.

    Congrats to you on getting the jump and registering early. I'm sure it'll be worth it.

    Maybe you can give a seminar about how to start unschooling support groups in your community?

    Cate, I've been trying to respond for days! Life has been getting in the way. I found this unschooling conference in Austrailia September 3 - 7. I don't know exactly where you are or if this is at all feasible for you, but check it out! http://www.unschoolingretreat.com/

    Thanks so much! I honestly had no idea...but then I've only really been looking locally.

    But after recently spending a weekend in Toronto for Emma's birthday, we might just do this.

    Hey guess what?

    I just received my monthly OFTP (Ontario Federation of Teaching Parents) newsletter and the unschooling conference you found is in there.

    So, it looks like I would have found out about it anyway. Maybe it's a sign that we should sign up?

    I truly believe that if something "keeps coming up" for me, it is meant to be. Do it, Sheri!! If it is anything like the LIFE is Good Conference, you will be so glad you did!!! Keep me posted! :)
