You've probably figured out that I'm a Law of Attraction gal. I've posted a couple quotes from Abraham here and here. No matter the messenger, the message is a good one. I recently listened to an exerpt from an Abraham-Hicks talk that spoke to me and reminded me how beautifully this life works.

"You don't have to force knowledge on anyone."
That line jumped out at me.
Everything that I'm good at, I'm good at because I wanted to learn it and have practiced it enough to be good at it.
We have to trust our children to be their own best muse, their own best guides and their own best mentors.

Wow Sheri! I'm so glad that this moved you so much. I thought it was amazingly powerful. I wish more people could see the power and truth of this. Life would be so much more beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI think the tears were because I spent so many years trying to fit myself and my kids into the narrow view that if I wasn't forcing them to learn then they weren't and I was a bad parent.
ReplyDeleteRegret I suppose. I'm just grateful that I eventually got over it.
