Photo Editing

If you've been a member of Picnik, the online photo editing site (free & member options), you probably know that they are shutting down (or did they shut down already?). I loved Picnik and the fun edits they offered and was very sad at this announcement. Then I found PicMonkey. It looks like it's still a work in progress, but I've been able to do some fun editing!

Some are more obvious than others.

black & white with effect "erased" on dandelion & weeds + watermark
cropped, sharpened and added "Dusk" effect + watermark
cropped and softened + watermark
Go ahead and give it a try! You know you want to . . .

  2. Cool! I've never used anything other than Photoshop to edit my photos and I didn't even know these things were even out there. Thanks. :D

  3. At leas tyou have found another similar photo editor! And I love the effects that are on the photo of the lizard king and the dusk effect too.If you are still looking around maybe fotoflexer might be of interest too, you never know. It is a shame picnic has gone though, a lot of people loved that editor.

    1. I haven't heard of fotoflexer. I like that with PicMonkey (and formerly Picnik) I can edit without downloading any software. I'm really excited to find a Picnik replacement.
