Last weekend we went to see the Broadway musical, Beauty & the Beast. This was Princess' second Broadway musical . . . and she LOVED it! Of course, she came away with souvenirs. Belle from Mommy & Daddy and the Beast from her aunt. Lucky girl!
We've been going to the movies almost every week. Yesterday Princess and I went to see The Secret World of Arrietty. We both loved it, although Princess found the ending very sad. Still, she was inspired by the movie to build her own little home for the little people who are called borrowers.
I just LOVE how Princess' exercises her imagination, it's so inspiring. The Belle and Beast dolls are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYes, please post more often, I miss you too.
I'd love to see how your knitting is coming along. I decided to make another Dr. Who scarf for my BF's Mom who is a huge fan. (I know, eh?) This time though I halved the number of stitches and rows so that it's not such a big job. It won't be as authentic a replica as Daughter's but it'll still look the part. Can't wait to see her face, she has no idea and will be visiting at the end of March.
Isn't her imagination awesome?!?! I will try to post more often. I have some controversial things that I'm not sure what the response will be, but I guess I'll find out. Way cool for you embarking on another knitting project and I love how you've modified it!! I think I will start posting some photos of my work, although the grandkid stuff has already been mailed. Still, I've got lots of other stuff going.
DeleteAnd we miss you too! Bah - be as controversial as you like - it's your blog after all, and as your oats eating, Christian friend - if I can take it, so can everybody else :-)
ReplyDelete(Hope that came out ok!!)
