Wardrobe Wednesday - Haircut!

The Royal Dog was way overdue for a haircut. She's got that cottony soft type of hair/fur that mats easily. And yes, I should brush her everyday but . . . well, that didn't happen.

I was waiting for the temperatures to warm up a bit before going to this style, but I got a little impatient. So . . . I'm knitting her a sweater to help keep her warm. When I told Freckles, she laughed at me. Pthththth . . .

Check out the Billy Idol lip she's got going on.

I love her tail! So fancy. :-)

Now head on over to our Wardrobe Wednesday sponsor, Aliceson at Feet Off the Table, and see what all the cool kids are wearing.

  1. Love the Billy Idol reference..."it's a nice day for a white wedding..." Hehe.

I think a sweater is a cute idea...of course, I also giggle when I see dogs wearing them so I can see where Freckles is coming from. :P

Yes, her tail is adorable but in that photo my eyes are drawn to your lawn and I'm as green as your grass with envy.

Spring is sure taking it's time around here.

  2. So cute! Do you clip her yourself? We shave Flash about once every 2 months to keep the floating dog hair balls at bay. The last time he did awesome and didn't seem to mind at all. He even let the Gardener trim around his ears, something Oliver never tolerated.

  3. Sheri, here in Oregon, we have green lawns year round. Maybe not quite as green as spring time. When we moved to Georgia, I thought our lawn died. I forgot about lawns browning and going dormant in winter.

I tried trimming her a few weeks ago, Aliceson. It was a miserable fail. And I cut her ear. I'll pay to have it done every 10-12 weeks. I'm impressed that you guys do it. It is not easy!

  5. Love the attitude in that first pic ;-)

Can't wait to see the jumper too (that's "sweater" in your language hehe)

  6. She does have attitude, doesn't she, Cate!

If jumper is sweater, is there something that you call a sweater, or no? ;-)
