How did the week go by so quickly?! Somehow, I haven't done that much.
I've been thinking about sewing, but I have to get to the fabric store and actually choose and buy fabric for my next project. Maybe I'll do that on Saturday. I have to make the time. I really want to work on my next project!
I've been doing a lot of reading at Digital Photography School and I'm learning a little more everyday. I'd really love to take a digital photography class. Maybe in the summer? Anyway, I shot some photos for this post and chose my favorite, which leads into the next goal.
Fortunately, my Slow Burn workouts take very little time. Click the link and it will take you to the iPhone/iPad/iPod "vook" that includes videos of the at home exercises. It still amazes me that I can see results from ONE workout when I do ONE set only ONE time a week for only 30 MINUTES. Between this workout and living the Paleo lifestyle, I have lost 7 pounds. Does that rock or what?!
I've been thinking about adding something else to my workout just for fun. You'll have to wait to find out what that is . . . until next Thursday!
Now head on over to Cate's at Moments of Whimsy to see what everyone else is up to for week 6.
Go you! What a great pic.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the Paleo diet, I'm still loving it. 7 lbs is what I lost too.
Though since I've laxed on my exercises this week I've actually put most of the weight back on.
I'm really going to have to keep at it.
Love the heart wallpaper by the way. Very cute.
:D
Wow - you do rock! The shot is great - and the black and white really suits it. I need to check out this work out of yours too .
ReplyDeleteCongrats on yet another strong week!
Thanks, Sheri! I'm totally getting into this whole photography thing. The Paleo lifestyle is so incredible. All the food is delicious and I find that I don't miss the grains, beans, etc. The heart wallpaper was inspired by Cate. I saw her blog and realized that I needed to do some Valentine's Day decorating.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cate! I imagine I look rather silly crawling around the floor, snapping photos and repositioning weights. Still, I don't care. It took doing all that to get the right shot. The workout is awesome, Cate. I highly recommend it. It doesn't take much equipment either. I have 40 lb. adjustable dumbbells, ankle weights, a stool (or chair without arms) and a couple towels. A metronome is helpful, but you can get a free one with your iPhone (app). Give it a go!
Awesome photo! I love it in black and white. Congratulations to you on your weightloss! It sounds like you are doing everything right. Keep up the good work! Have a great weekend, Candace
ReplyDeleteThanks, Candace! I'm amazed at how easy it has been to lose weight (or as the Paleo people say, "lean out"). The way of eating is fabulous! And I still enjoy the workouts! How cool is that?!
