We Each Have a Vote

And that doesn't always work to my advantage. Darn it!

Both the Lizard King and I loved the green we chose for the kitchen. Princess, not so much. Next we chose the main house color. Here are the choices we narrowed down to:

I like the lightest one best. LK and Princess, well, they liked the middle tone. I know, I know, they're about a half to one shade different. Still, I liked the lighter one. But it was two to one. They win. I'm sure it will look lovely once it's done. LK just needs to find the time to do it. It might be a while, but hey, I'm getting used to living with random patches of color throughout the house. It's conversation piece!

  1. Hehe, a conversation piece...I used to say the same thing about the torn strip of wall paper in the den. It took over a year to actually get around to taking it all off. :P

And yeah, I often get outvoted around here too.

    1. Darn democracy! ;) The nice thing about it, though, is that our kids learn that their opinions (and votes) are just as valuable as the grown ups. Pretty cool . . .
