Photo Editing

If you've been a member of Picnik, the online photo editing site (free & member options), you probably know that they are shutting down (or did they shut down already?). I loved Picnik and the fun edits they offered and was very sad at this announcement. Then I found PicMonkey. It looks like it's still a work in progress, but I've been able to do some fun editing!

Some are more obvious than others.

Go ahead and give it a try! You know you want to . . .

I Heart Faces - From a Distance

This is my first ever photo submission to I Heart Faces (or anywhere). And I'm nervous. There are so many amazing photographers who submit to the "i heart faces" challenges. The instructions for this week are:

This week we’re going to focus on portrait photos that were taken at more of a distance.  Examples of this would be:  a photo with the people way off in the distance in a beautiful location, a photo that features a whole slew of people rather than focusing on a single face, a silhouette photo taken from afar, a photo with the subjects walking away from the camera, etc.
This is another shot from our beach trip on Friday. Is Princess distant enough? I hope so!

I had a hard time choosing which photo, so I elicited some feedback. This shot was the most picked of the four versions I created, it was Princess' and LK's favorite, too.

Wish me luck!! Now head on over to I Heart Faces to check out the competition other submissions and maybe even join in yourself! You know you want to . . .
