My Cousins

Before heading home, we drove to the other side of Pennsylvania to meet up with some of my family. It was a lovely evening and the first time Princess got to meet everyone.

Ink

LK's son, my dear stepson, is a tattoo artist. While in Pittsburgh, LK and I took an afternoon to get some ink.

 Can you tell what this is?

 LK and I got matching tattoos. This is something that Princess started when she was really little.
"I love you."

Family Reunion

Princess got to meet LK's family, many for the first time. Cousins range in age from late forties to Princess at almost 10 years old. She met aunts and uncles and second cousins, her niece and nephew and got to see her brother and sister-in-law, too! Thanks to LK's sister for hosting the gathering at her house.

There were lawn games, some that I had never seen before.

 The big guy in the black shirt is Princess' brother. There's just over a 20 year difference between them. Then Aunt S, a second cousin and a cousin (orange).

It was a blast and we all look forward to doing it again next year.

The Grandkids

In June we went back to Pittsburgh to visit the kids, grandkids, LK's sibling and their families. I'm splitting this into a few posts, starting with our beautiful grandkids.

 Yes, Princess is an aunt . . .  :)
